DICT Western Visayas is conducting Rural Impact Sourcing Technical Training in Catbalogan. One of them, is the Digital Jobs PH Technical Training will be held on DICT Catbalogan City. And with the help of the City Mayor Dexter Uy, Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) the training started well.

The trainer on this year training is Nathaniel Guio Mendoza, A Faculty / ICT Staff of Samar State University. He is also a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Information in Technology as well as Masters in Science in Information Technology. He is a alumnus of this training and one of the six medalist of their last year batch.

The Training

The training will run from October 9, 2019 to December 11, 2019. Each scholars are assigned to one MSME. Venue of the training is at DICT Building in Catbalogan City. The training courses are covered the following:

  • 21 Day Digital Marketing
  • Virtual Assistance
  • Content Writing
  • Search Engine Optimization & Advertising
  • Social Media Marketing & Advertising
  • Graphic Design
  • Web Development

MSME, or Micro Small Medium Entrepreneur are also present in this training. They are the one who will assist the scholars for their required data in order to promote their business online. This partnership will grow both the scholar and their assigned MSME. Here are the following list of MSME who supported the training:

Final Thoughts
